Three more Covid-19 cases reported, total stands at 240

The Ministry of Health reported three more Covid-19 cases in Vietnam by 6pm April 4, raising the country’s total to 240.
The latest case is a 29-year-old woman residing in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.
She returned to Vietnam from Bangkok on March 20 and had been sent to quarantine zone in Ninh Binh province after her arrival.

The patient is under treatment at Ninh Binh general hospital.
The same day, five more Covid-19 patients recovered and were discharged from Cu Chi acute respiratory hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang Hospital, bringing the total number of patients given the all-clear in Vietnam to 90.
They included four Vietnamese nationals and a US citizen.
All the patients will continue to be quarantined and monitored for the next 14 days.
Bac Giang expands screening tests to detect Covid-19 infections
(BGO) - The provincial People’s Committee of
Bac Giang province held an online conference with 10 districts and city on
April 1 to review the fight against Covid-19 and layout urgent measures for
coming days. Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee,
Deputy Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and
control (the Steering Committee) chaired the conference.
Banks to offer credit packages for customers affected by Covid-19
The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) will provide credit packages worth 60 trillion VND (2.5 million USD) and 100 trillion VND respectively to support customers amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

85 Covid-19 patients in Vietnam were declared recovered and discharged from hospitals as of 12:00 on April 3.
Ten more Covid-19 patients cured
Ten Covid-19 patients were given the all-clear on April 3, bringing the total number of cured cases in Vietnam to 85.
Quick responses, all-out efforts needed to win fight against Covid-19
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requests all organisations and individuals to strictly follow a set of rules in order to win the fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by novel coronavirus.
