Trademark of Luc Ngan lychee protected in USA

(BGO) – According to the Bac Giang provincial Department of Science and Technology, the American authority has granted the 20 years valid certificate of protection for the collective trademark of Luc Ngan lychee to Luc Ngan Association of lychee production and consumption in Chu town, Luc Ngan district.

Previously, the fruit trademark has been protected at seven countries including Lao, Cambodia, Republic of Korea, China, Japan, Singapore and Australia.

The certificate creates the opportunity to expand the export markets as well as to prevent the imitation of Luc Ngan lychee trademark overseas.

In addition, the Association’s members are provided with favorable conditions in promoting, selling and improving the economic value of the lychee fruit.
