Training institutions and programmes meeting domestic and foreign standards announced

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a list of 181 training institutions and 468 training programmes which have met domestic and foreign accreditation standards.

Accordingly, 252 programmes from 57 training facilities have received domestic recognition. Facilities with a high number of recognised programmes include Thu Dau Mot University, University of Mining and Geology, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, and Vinh University.

Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) has 62 programmes meeting foreign standards.

Mean while, 216 programmes from 36 training facilities satisfied foreign standards. Of which, 62 programmes are being provided by member institutions of the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City; and 31 others are being taught at the Vietnam National University – Hanoi.

The Ministry also listed 164 higher education institutions and 10 pedagogical colleges with quality accreditation meeting domestic standards.

There are seven higher education institutions that have met foreign accreditation standards, including: the University of Technology and International University under the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City, University of Science and Technology under the University of Da Nang, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Civil Engineering, Hanoi University of Science, and Ton Duc Thang University.
