The visit aimed to promote health cooperation between Vietnam and France.

During the trip, K Hospital and Avicenne Hospital inked a cooperation agreement for the two sides to work together for bilateral development.

Avicenne Hospital will receive young doctors and researchers of K Hospital in training programmes for resident doctors, oncologists and physician-scientists.

Furthermore, the French hospital will share its advanced technologies in cancer diagnosis and treatment and experience in hospital management to international standards.

The two sides will also join cancer research together.

In addition, cooperation programmes in postgraduate, constant training and partner universities will be devised in the future.

A cooperation pact between the NICC and the Curie Institute is expected to be signed in Vietnam in November.

Healthcare project sponsored by European Union benefits 12 localities

(BGO) – The Bac Giang provincial Association for Protection of Children’s Rights on September 6 cooperated with Italian Centre for Aid to Children (CIAI) in Vietnam to hold a kickoff meeting introducing about the project of “Health for all: Improving the participation of social and political organizations in maternal and child health care delivery system in Bac Giang province”.

 

Project to give healthcare, rehabilitation support to AO victims

The Ministry of Health launched a project on August 29, providing specific health care services and rehabilitation therapy to dioxin/Agent Orange (AO) victims for the 2018-2021 period.

 

VSS, Danish Embassy ink deal on health insurance-related cooperation

The Vietnam Social Security (VSS) and the Danish Embassy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on August 21, to help the VSS improve its health insurance verification staff’s capacity in 2018 and 2019.

 

Vietnam, France look to foster health link

Vietnam and France signed many cooperation agreements in health during a working visit to France by Vietnamese Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien from June 13-17 at the invitation of French Minister of Solidarities and Health Agnès Buzyn.
