At the event, the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in Montreal showed destinations in the northwestern region that have been famous for their landscapes that are full of sunshine and impressive terrace fields. A course in the Vietnamese language, consisting of 18 hours, were also introduced.

Vietnam was one of destinations mentioned most in the show.

According to President of the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in Montreal, Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong, the centre wished to provide Canadian and international tourists with a small ‘luggage’ on language, history and culture of Vietnam, contributing to promoting the country’s tourism.

Marketing Director of Voyages Traditours, Nancy Lavoie, said that the company has organised tours to Vietnam and saw that there have been more and more Canadian visitors interested in the land, people, culture and cuisine of Vietnam.

During the three-day fair, around 400 seminars, with the participation of 100 prestigious experts in tourism sector, were held, promoting famous destinations around the world.

Notably, Vietnam is one of destinations mentioned most in the seminars.

There are nearly 250,000 Vietnamese people living and working in Canada and over 20,000 Vietnamese students that are factors contributing to enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.
