Bac Ninh enterprises accelerate worker recruitment
Bac Ninh – As order volumes rise and production scales expand, many enterprises in Bac Ninh province are urgently recruiting large numbers of workers, opening up employment opportunities with competitive income and welfare policies.
Hot bonuses to attract manpower
Goertek Vina Co. Ltd., an electronics assembly manufacturer operating since 2013, currently runs three factories in Bac Ninh province employing around 50,000 workers. To meet its expansion needs, the company is recruiting an additional 50,000 general labourers.

Goertek Vina offers an attractive base salary of 5.5 million VND per month, plus seniority, performance, housing, transportation, and meal allowances, ensuring a minimum monthly income of 10 million VND (441 USD) for each worker.
To secure sufficient manpower, Goertek Vina deploys various recruitment channels, including direct hiring, social media outreach, and partnerships with manpower supply units within and outside the province.
In June and July, the company is applying an internal referral programme, offering staff a bonus of 5 million VND per referred worker, paid over five months.
Notably, new recruits are eligible for a “hot bonus” of up to 10 million VND after completing three months of work, paid incrementally alongside monthly wages.
Ban Hong Trieu, Head of Recruitment at Goertek Vina, said: “We hire both male and female workers, including those up to 50 years old. The working environment is air-conditioned with guaranteed welfare policies. We hope to attract a large workforce to ensure our production expansion plans proceed smoothly.”
Similarly, Pearl Global Vietnam Co. Ltd. in Dinh Tri Industrial Cluster (Bac Giang ward) is ramping up recruitment to support production expansion.
The company has registered recruitment needs with the provincial Employment Service Centre to widen outreach, helping workers from various localities access opportunities. It also coordinates with local authorities to distribute leaflets and broadcasts recruitment announcements via public loudspeaker systems.
Phan Thi Minh Huong, a company recruiter, shared that Pearl Global Vietnam needs 600 workers. The management encourages long-term employees to refer family and friends.
Under the internal referral scheme, introducing a worker who stays for three months earns the referrer a 5 million VND bonus. New sewing workers with skills receive entry bonuses of 5-10 million VND each, while unskilled recruits get 2 million VND each.
Strengthening labour market forecasting and matching
Bac Ninh currently has over 28,400 active enterprises, creating jobs for more than 766,100 workers. Of these, 70% work within the province’s 32 industrial parks.
Data from the Employment Service Centre indicates that over 1,900 enterprises are recruiting, offering around 116,000 job vacancies. Unskilled labour accounts for 80% of demand, primarily in electronics and garment manufacturing.

Major recruiters include Goertek Vina Co. Ltd. (50,000 positions) in Que Vo Industrial Park; Newwing Interconnect Technology Bac Giang Co. Ltd. (10,500 positions) in Van Trung Industrial Park; Foxconn Technology Group (10,000 positions) in Quang Chau Industrial Park; Dreamtech Vietnam Co. Ltd. (5,500 positions) in VSIP Industrial Park; and Luxshare-ICT Co. Ltd. (3,000 positions) in Van Trung Industrial Park.
Assessing current supply-demand dynamics, a Department of Home Affairs representative described this as a positive signal reflecting Bac Ninh’s successful investment attraction policies, which foster healthy labour market competition.
“For employers to attract and retain skilled workers, they must implement more attractive incentive policies. Meanwhile, workers have the right to choose the best employment opportunities for themselves,” the official noted.
To support recruitment, the provincial Employment Service Centre is enhancing labour supply-demand forecasting, systematically reviewing each company’s hiring needs.
It also promotes information technology applications in publicising job vacancies on its website and other media platforms, making it easier for job seekers to access and apply.
Monthly, the Centre coordinates with employment service centres in labour-rich provinces such as Lang Son, Son La, Bac Kan, and Ha Giang to organise effective online job exchanges, emphasising enterprises’ welfare policies to attract workers.
Based on actual demand, it also organises job fairs and dedicated recruitment sessions to promptly supply manpower and avoid production disruptions.
Many enterprises believe recruitment should go hand-in-hand with on-site training. Pham Xuan My, Production Manager at KD Sports Vietnam Co. Ltd. (Hiep Hoa commune), said that in the current competitive labour market, the company provides free training and meal allowances for new recruits.
To accelerate skills acquisition and integration into production lines, KD Sports allocates separate training areas and assigns line leaders and team supervisors to guide trainees.
“This approach helps the company proactively secure human resources, reduce training time and costs, and ensures workers adapt quickly while understanding workplace rules and discipline,” My explained.
Looking ahead, the Department of Home Affairs plans to advise the Provincial People’s Committee to further promote career orientation and vocational training from lower secondary education levels.
It will direct the Employment Service Centre to expand partnership models with enterprises in training and local workforce supply. Officials stress that sustainable solutions lie in businesses applying registered conditions and policies faithfully, while enhancing welfare to attract and retain workers long-term.
