Vietnam labour chief praises Hanel PT's innovation and worker welfare
BAC NINH – President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) Nguyen Anh Tuan has recently visited Hanel PT New Generation Technology JSC in Bac Ninh Province, commending the Vietnamese technology firm's strong growth, innovation and commitment to employee welfare.
Nguyen Anh Tuan, who is also Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, attended a technical skill demonstration programme held on June 7 at the company's Tien Son Industrial Park facility.

The event was organised to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and support the nationwide emulation movement promoting productivity and higher incomes for workers.
Provincial leaders, including Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Party Committee Tran Huy Phuong and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi, also joined the visit.

Established in 2000, Hanel PT is a Vietnamese technology company specialising in electronics manufacturing, high-tech equipment production and industrial technology solutions. The company also develops advanced processing technologies for the agricultural sector.
According to the company, it has become a supplier to a number of foreign-invested enterprises, including multinational corporations from Japan and the United States, participating in global supply chains for electronics, semiconductors and other high-tech products.

Beyond electronics, Hanel PT has expanded its SASAKI brand, which focuses on food-processing technologies such as deep freezing, intelligent cold drying, freeze-drying and other value-added processing solutions aimed at increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products and supporting exports.
The company currently employs 225 workers, around 60% of whom are local residents, while women account for approximately 60% of its workforce. Average monthly income ranges from 10 million to 14 million VND (382-535 USD) per employee.
After touring the company's production facilities and innovation models, Nguyen Anh Tuan said Hanel PT had achieved significant progress in its manufacturing and business operations.

He highlighted the company's core electronics business, particularly printed circuit board production, which recorded growth of more than 150% in the first six months of the year.
The performance, he said, contributes to Bac Ninh Province's target of nearly 12% economic growth and supports the country's broader ambition of maintaining double-digit growth.
The VGCL leader also praised the company's proactive investment in research, development and the application of advanced technologies, saying these efforts had strengthened the competitiveness of Vietnamese products.
He further commended Hanel PT's employee welfare policies, describing them as practical measures embedded in collective labour agreements that help safeguard workers' long-term interests and improve their quality of life.
Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed confidence that the company would continue to innovate, strengthen the position of Vietnamese enterprises in high-tech industries and further enhance the material and spiritual well-being of its workforce.
On the occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour presented 225 gift packages to the company's employees and awarded cash prizes to 32 outstanding workers recognised for their initiatives and innovations.
