According to the assessment from the Departments of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affair; Finance; Home Affairs and the Office of the provincial People’s Committee, VK-Tech gained 90 out of 100 points, hence qualifying to rank 1st grade.
The College achieved the highest points for several criteria like the scale of vocational education, the scale of general training (college and intermediate levels), flexible linkage among business, service and education to increase the source of collection to the college, active collaboration with enterprises in vocational training and a high recruitment rate of graduates.
The college started the first academic year of 2014 – 2015 in the fields of mechanics, electricity, electronics, information technology and automotive technology.
VK-Tech was founded on August 31, 2012, under the Decision of the Minister of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affair. The facility was constructed at a total investment of 16 million USD, in which Republic of Korea’s Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) provided 10 million USD and the remaining 6 million USD was funded by the local province. |
