The Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia is showcasing Vietnamese cashew nuts, pepper, rice, coffee and tea at the International Exhibition on Food & Beverage Products, Technology, Ingredients, Additives, Raw Materials, Services, Equipment, Supplies (SIAL InterFood) that opened in Jakarta on November 21.

Nguyen Thi Thu from Sunhouse Group said there are many opportunities for Vietnamese brands, especially those of food, to enter Indonesia thanks to its huge food demand. Indonesia is now also one of the major rice importers of Vietnam.
Seminars, business-to-business meetings, thematic programmes on tea, coffee, liquor, confectionery and health care food will also be held.
As the leading international fair on food, beverages and technology in Southeast Asia, the annual SIAL InterFood attracts over 1,000 stalls from nearly 30 countries and territories such as the US, China, Taiwan (China), Belgium and Vietnam.
The event will last until November 24.

Food & Hotel 2018 – a food, beverage, hotel, restaurant, and bakery show – will take place in Hanoi from November 28-30, the Vietnam Hotel Association (VHA) announced at a press conference on October 12.
