Students are practising the skills as a programme host.

The BA Advertising, PR and Media programme is a full-time programme delivered wholly in English and franchised by Middlesex University with 12 highly practical modules.

The programme is run in line with the principles and standards of quality by Middlesex and taught by accredited Vietnamese lecturers, media practitioners and international experts.

“The programme aims to train students to be fluent in English, good at media skills and knowledgeable about the Vietnamese society”, says programme leader Van Vu.

To achieve this objective, the AJC imported Middlesex University’s programme with certain localization where local case studies and examples are utilized to help the students understand the lesson in the specific context of Vietnam.

In the academic year 2018-2019, the programme will admit 50 students who should meet the minimum English requirements and pass a capacity test.

According to Dr Van Vu, maintaining the quality is a top priority. He said that “students must achieve an IELTS score of at least 6.0 to be qualified for the programme; otherwise, they will have to study for one year to meet the English requirements.”

Middlesex University will be responsible for developing the programme, assuring the quality and awarding the degrees to the graduates while the AJC will do the job of recruiting the students, providing learning facilities and organizing the lectures.
