Accordingly, each bag includes food such as rice, eggs, and farm produce worth VND250,000 which is enough to support a family or a group of 4-5 members for one week.

The program is being held as part of the “One million welfare bags” campaign, hosted by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Youth Union of the Centrally Run Business Bloc to help needy people amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

* On the same day, the Dong Thap Provincial Health Department received medical supplies and vehicles worth VND9 billion donated by the Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company (THACO) in support of the province's Covid-19 fight.

The donation comprises 500,000 rapid Covid-19 test kits and a mobile vaccination truck.
