A representative of Mobifone Service Company presents gifts to the impoverished workers at the Worker Festival in the provincial Industrial Parks in September 2017.

According to the statistic from all levels of Trade Union, some 3,800 unionists have used the products and services with preferential prices, mostly members of the Trade Unions in the provincial Industrial Parks, Bac Giang municipal Labor Federation and in the districts of Tan Yen and Viet Yen, totally worth about 330 million VND (14,500 USD).

Apart from distribution of goods and service to the unionists with preferential prices (discounting from 3 – 20 percent) and installment payment via the trade union, the enterprises supported the impoverished members. Especially, many meaningful gifts were presented to the poor workers on the Tet occasion. 

Concretely, Bac Giang VNPT Trading Center gifted a “Cozy Union house” worth 30 million VND (1,300 USD) while Bac Giang Branch of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade presented 33 packages valued at 10 million VND (439 USD).
