(BGO) –
Since the Lunar New Year occasion, the Yen Dung Clean Vegetable Cooperative (Cooperative)
has supplied 10 tonnes of clean veggies and roots to the market per day, mostly
including cherry tomato, baby cucumber, up 50 percent comparing to the same
period last year.
Apart from selling the products to several big supermarkets in Hanoi, the Cooperative expanded the store and online shopping systems to the customers in the province and in other localities of Bac Ninh, Cao Bang, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh.

Now, cherry tomato is sold at 30,000 VND (1.3 USD) per kilogram while baby cucumber enjoys the price of 22,000 VND (0.95 USD) per kilogram.
According to the Cooperative, each sao (360 square meters) of the cherry tomato and baby cucumber will be cultivated in 3 – 4 months which bring an income of 35 – 40 milion VND (1,500 – 1,700 USD), much higher than other crops.
Now, the Cooperative has 50 hectares of clean vegetables grown under VietGAP standard. The product “Yen Dung clean vegetable” was granted the protection certificate for the collective brand by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (Ministry of Science and Technology).
Increase value of signature farm produce
(BGO) – Hiep Hoa district (Bac Giang
province) has many signature products preferred by a wide range of customers
such as Thai Son glutinous rice, Hoang Luong water dropwort and Van Chung cake
among others. The district is now highly focusing on increasing the
productivity and quality as well as building the trademark to improve the
economic value for the farm produce.
Bac Giang to open farm produce store and promote Luc Ngan orange, pomelo in Hanoi in early December

– According to the Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), to develop and
promote the trademark as well as focus on consuming Luc Ngan orange, pomelo and
signature, key and potential products of Bac Giang province in Hanoi city, the
DoIT planned to open a store on December 1, 2019 in Hanoi to sell the key and
signature agricultural products of the province as well as promote Luc Ngan
orange and pomelo.

Trade supported enterprises and cooperatives producing under the value chain in
Bac Giang province in packaging design, labeling and stamping origin
traceability helping them to improve goods value and boost consumption.

endowed with rich land, favourable terrain and climate to develop high-tech
agriculture with many kinds of valuable farm produce. As defining it a strength
of the local, Bac Giang province has provided a number of policies and schemes
to support farmers and accelerate investment attraction in agriculture
especially commodity products for export.
Luc Nam: Two more farm produce granted protection certificate for collective brand
(BGO) – The
National Office of Intellectual Property of
Vietnam (under Ministry of Science and Technology) has granted the protection
certificate for the collective brand of two farm products in Luc Nam district,
Bac Giang province including Kham Lang taro of Agricultural Service Cooperative
in Kham Lang commune and Bac Lung sweet potato in Bac Lung Agricultural Service
Cooperative.
