Of these, 27 projects were newly approved in the 2025–2026 period, helping to rapidly expand housing supply. Once completed, the projects are expected to deliver about 116,446 apartments.

Between 2021 and 2026, the province has completed roughly 28,300 units, gradually meeting housing demand for low-income residents and workers.

In terms of progress, 30 projects have been completed or partially completed, with 22,485 units ready for use. Another 16 projects are under construction, providing about 21,683 units. Meanwhile, 54 projects have had investors appointed and are undergoing procedures, expected to add more than 72,000 units in the coming period.

Beyond housing for residents, the province is also improving living conditions for workers and armed forces personnel. Four worker accommodation projects are being developed in industrial parks, covering more than 8 hectares.

In coordination with the defence and public security ministries, six land plots totalling over 5.3 hectares have been allocated for social housing for armed forces.

Authorities said the large-scale rollout of social housing projects is helping ensure social welfare and laying a foundation to attract investment and support sustainable socio-economic growth in the years ahead.

The adjusted decree provides detailed and synchronised regulations covering the entire lifecycle of social housing projects, from project preparation and investor selection to incentive mechanisms, as well as procedures for sale, lease-purchase and operational management. It also applies to worker accommodation and housing for armed forces personnel.
