Bac Ninh rolls out seven task groups to boost international economic integration in 2026

Updated: 16:16, 21/04/2026

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh province has issued a plan outlining seven key groups of tasks and solutions to advance international economic integration in 2026, as global and regional uncertainties, conflicts and trade competition intensify.

The plan, signed by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Thinh, aims to sustain stable and sustainable economic growth, enhance the competitiveness of the local economy and businesses, and make effective use of free trade agreements (FTAs) to expand and diversify export markets.

To achieve these goals, the province will implement coordinated measures, including raising awareness of international integration, reforming and improving economic institutions, and enhancing the investment and business environment to attract high-quality foreign investment.

Other priorities include supporting enterprises to strengthen competitiveness, developing human resources, promoting external relations and investment and trade promotion, and improving the capacity to implement and leverage FTAs effectively.

As part of its 2026 agenda, Bac Ninh plans to host several large-scale events, including the provincial International Industry and Trade Fair in the second and third quarters, and the FDI Connect 2026 forum focusing on sustainable global supply chains.

The province will also organise business delegations to participate in international trade fairs in key markets, expand connections between domestic firms and multinational corporations, and support companies in adopting cross-border e-commerce.
