The Bac Giang delegation achieved excellent results with 18 out of 18 students won medals. Also, it was the only delegate with 100 percent of individual bagging the prizes, including 2 golds, 11 silvers and 5 bronzes.

Regarding the team award, the A team of secondary school and primary school earned gold trophy while B team of primary school won bronze cup. It was the highest result of the delegation from Bac Giang municipal students at the contest.

This year event drew 35 delegations with 348 candidates (divided into 33 primary school clubs and 25 secondary school clubs) from 28 provinces and cities across the country.

3 teams of Bac Giang municipal delegation participated in the contest. Each team consisted of 6 students (2 teams from primary and 1 team from secondary schools.) Members of secondary school team were students from Le Quy Don Secondary School and members of primary schools were selected from primary schools in the city.

The students had to deal with single and team categories. 12 clubs with highest scores at the team category entered the Math Travel Round. The test in single category was in Vietnamese and included 15 exercises (12 multiple choice and 3 writing parts).

The Math team category and Math Travel Round were in English which did not allow the students to use the pocket calculator when solving each test in 30 minutes.

It is the 15th event of this kind to attract numerous students from primary and secondary schools. The meaningful intellectual activity helps students in provinces and cities to exchange and study the experiences as well as promote the Math talent and practise the teamwork skill.
