The tournament drew 400 players from 22 provinces and cities nationwide. The athletes competed in 7 different age groups including 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65 and 66-70.

Bac Giang team ranks 5th overall place at the Championship.

This championship is aimed to answering the call “All people practice following Uncle Ho’s example”, celebrating the International Day of Older Persons on 1 October and launching the “action month for the elderly”.

Bac Giang delegation participated in the championship with 20 athletes winning 8 medals including 1 gold, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes. The gold medal ran to men’s double Le Xuan Phu - Pham Tien Hung in the age group of 51-55.

With this achievement, Bac Giang team ranked 5th overall place preceded by Ho Chi Minh City, Son La, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces.
