Over the past 20 years, CAEXPO has become a major multilateral economic and trade cooperation platform of ASEAN and China, bringing together a large number of businesses and investors from China and ASEAN countries, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to directly learn about market trends, exchange and promote business cooperation in many fields with Chinese and ASEAN businesses.
At the event, Vietnamese businesses have the opportunities to approach about 50,000 traders from China and ASEAN countries.
Attending this year’s fair, the delegation of Bac Giang province, through bilingual Vietnamese-Chinese and English-Vietnamese documents on trade and investment promotion, has introduced its potential, advantages and people, thus strengthening connection and cooperation with product consumption partners and attract investment.
On this occasion, the delegation surveyed the Nanning Railway Station and the Shuangding institute of industry and circular economy in Nanning city; and attended the 2023 ASEAN-China Youth Exchange Week (Nanning).
Earlier, Phan The Tuan and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Nanning city. The two sides discussed the advantages of geographical location, potential and strengths of each locality.
As the highway and railway routes from Nanning to Bac Giang are being completed, the two sides proposed cooperation to promote logistics development, trade promotion and cross-border industrial development, and build a locality-to-locality exchange mechanism in culture and education. Currently there are many Vietnamese students studying at universities in Nanning.
The two sides proposed to increase leadership-level coordination mechanisms, and annual, periodic or non-periodic exchanges.
