Tran Cong Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, received the fund.

The Bac Giang Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces hand over 200 million VND to support the provincial Fund for the poor.

From this fund, the province supports to build solidarity houses, provides livelihoods for production development, presents Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households and provides emergency support for especially difficult cases and those affected by natural disasters, epidemics and accidents.

At the event, Tran Cong Thang expressed his deep gratitude to the children of Bac Giang homeland in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces and cities who always accompany the province in social security work.

He highly appreciated the fine tradition of solidarity, humanity and affection of those who live far from home but still turn to their roots and wish to build their homeland Bac Giang more and more prosperous.

This meaningful gift was an important resource and spiritual strength for Bac Giang province to improve the life for the people.
