Bac Giang honors 24 outstanding businesses in charity work

(BGO) – The Business Association in Bac Giang province on October 10 held a meeting to celebrate  Vietnam Entrepreneurs’s Day (October 13) and honor outstanding business in charity work. 

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan The Tuan highly spoke of the recent achievement gained by the provincial Business Association, enterprises and business persons which greatly contributed to the local socio-economic growth.

The provincial leader affirmed that the comprehensively good result the province achieved was the sweet fruit from the consolidation, innovation, effort and high determination of the whole political system and people, especially the business community, entrepreneurs and the crucial role of the provincial Business Association.

To help the businesses and entrepreneurs quickly recover the production and positively contribute to successfully realizing the provincial socio-economic development goals, the provincial Business Association should further well summarize the information and reflection from the enterprises to assist local authorities to firmly seize the situation, timely work out solution and handle obstacles.

The leaders of the province and the provincial Business Association hand over Dimond Cup to the outstanding businesses in charity work.

Acknowledging the contribution of the business community, on this occasion, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Sized Business bestowed Certificate of Merit to 34 collectives and individuals with excellent achievements.

The Charity Fund of the provincial Business Association decided to hand over Dimond, Golden, Silver and Bronze Cup to honor 24 outstanding kind hearted businesses.

At the event, the Management Council of Charity Fund launched a donation campaign to the Fund to support many disadvantaged cases. The Council received ove 600 million VND.

(BGO) – The statistic from the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in Bac Giang province showed that the province decided to support nearly 422,800 labours, business households and enterprises as of September 13 with total approved amount of about 506 billion VND (22.2 million USD).
