The State-owned business earned 6,710 billion VND (94.5 percent of the plan), the non-State-owned economic sector gained 29,540 billion VND (79.4 percent) while the foreign investment enterprises achieved 270,990 billion VND (84.2 percent).

The mining industry fulfilled 62.7 percent of the yearly target with total value of 1,630 billion VND; the processing sector earned 302,770 billion VND as 84.3 percent of the plan; power production and supply gained 2,365 billion VND as 64.8 percent while water exploitation and supply got 475 billion VND as 65 percent of the plan.
