Bac Giang leader attends statue casting ceremony of Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong

The event was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council and Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet with leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Son Dong district in attendance.
As soon as the formal and solemn ceremony was carried out in line with the Buddhism ritual, the bronze founders successfully cast the statue and bronze incense burner.
The statue of Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong is 1.52 meters high and weighs 700 kilograms while the 1.35-meter incense burner weighs 1 tonne.

They were cast by the pure bronze and some additives from the donation of several businesses and kind-hearted people in Bac Giang province so as to dedicate to Tay Yen Tu ecological spiritual tourism complex.
The statue and incense burner will be completed and delivered to the Lower pagoda in Tay Yen Tu complex in the Festival launching ceremony 2018 to be held on January 11- 12 on the lunar calendar (February 26-27 2018) in Dong Thong hamlet, Tuan Mau commune, Son Dong district as schedule.
