The staff of Bac Giang based Big C Supermarket donates to the Humanitarian Fund.

The Management Council has called for organizations, enterprises and people of all strata in the province to donate both in cash and kind till July 31 to support the localities in response, prevention and mitigation of natural disasters and diseases as well as provide regular and emergent aids to impoverished individual and collective.

The donation should be sent to the provincial Red Cross Society (PRCS) (the permanent office of the Management Council) at 10th floor, building B, the inter-agency Headquarter or transferred to the account number: 4311 0000 102730 at the provincial Bank for Investment and Development.

Besides, the PRCS instructed the Associations to boost up the propaganda to enhance the awareness, arouse the social humanity so as to improve the material and spiritual life for the poor, responding to 2018 Humanitarian Month with the theme of “Humanity – from awareness to action” launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) from May 1 – 31.

The year of 2018 is the first time the VRCS has piloted the Humanitarian Month in several provinces and cities to sum up the experiences before duplicating the campaign nationwide.
