Bac Giang strictly manages sources of Covid-19 infection, quickly responds to new infections
According to a report by the provincial Department of Health, Bac Giang has not confirmed any new infected case as of 10 September. 2 out of 6 Covid-19 patients in Yen Dinh commune, Son Dong were discharged from hospital and isolated at home while 4 are being treated in the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, Facility No 2 in which patients 674, 794 and 811 are in stable health condition. Patient 793 has seen good health improvement without cardiac support device and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) since 4 September, stopping ventilator since 5 September and on respirator now.

The blockades for disease control in the districts of Son Dong, Luc Nam and Yen Dung have been removed. The rate of citizens installing Bluezone app is 25.75 percent, ranking 14th nationwide.
Concluding the meeting, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong stressed the pandemic has been in control so far thanks to great efforts of the levels, sectors and localities.
In the new normal state, the province will implement dual duties to give priority to the pandemic fight and focus on socio-economic development.
According to the provincial permanent Vice Chairman, the measures for the pandemic prevention and control will be loosened. However, he urged people to obey the preventive measures in gathering activities. People should wear facemask when going out and in crowded places and sanitize.
This time, people are advised not to travel outside the province and avoid coming to virus-hit areas such as Da Nang, Quang Nam and Hai Duong.

The districts and city need to continue strictly managing sources of infection to prevent transmission in the locality. Besides, it is necessary to reinforce measures to control transmission in medical facilities and focus on testing patients with acute respiratory symptoms even cases without epidemiological factors.
He urged the districts and city to inspect the pandemic fight, facilitate immigration of foreign experts and labourers to work in the province ensuring the pandemic prevention and control and strictly supervise health conditions of foreigners after entering to work in the companies.
The concentrated isolation areas must be always available to resume operation when necessary. In coming time, Bac Giang will receive a large number of workers returning from abroad who pose high risk of imported infection. Thus, he requested the provincial Industrial Zones Authority to strictly implement the epidemic prevention procedures to prevent infection in the industrial parks.
