Bac Giang team win 3 medals at national Vovinam Championship

(BGO) – The 26th National Vovinam Championship 2019 (traditional Vietnamese martial art) was held in Quang Nam province from October 18 – 22. Bac Giang delegation won 3 medals (1 silver and 2 bronzes). 

Particularly, the silver was awarded to Hoang Thi Thu Phuong at the weight group of 48 kg in the women’s combat event while two bronze medallists were Mai Duc Thang in men’s combat event at weight group of 60 kg and men’s team of Mai Duc Thang, Nguyen Quang Duy and Nguyen Van Quy.
