Bac Giang urged to flexibly respond, not to get complacent in the pandemic fight

(BGO)- Le Anh Duong, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Deputy Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Leader of the provincial Covid-19 Command Center of Bac Giang province chaired a teleconference with 3 levels (provincial, district and communal levels) on the pandemic fight in the province.

Le Anh Duong affirmed, the province still sees complicated developments of the pandemic. Thus, in order for safe and flexible pandemic response, the localities should tighten management while the departments and localities should pay attention to warning some officials and people not to get complacent as being vaccinated. The organizations and individuals should understand that they must still strictly follow 5K message of the Ministry of Health although they have been vaccinated to reduce the pandemic spread.

The localities need to continue paying high attention to implementation of the preventive measures. Particularly, preventing the disease penetration and rapidly localizing, isolating and testing when detecting infections.

He stressed, low-risk F1 cases should be quarantined at home to ease burden of the isolation areas. In coming time, the localities should strengthen home quarantine while raising responsibility of the Covid-19 community groups in supervising cases quarantining at home.

The Department of Health was urged to review the regulations of the province to provide sufficient guidance for the localities and agencies to better implementation of the preventive measures against the pandemic. The localities were required to review the district and communal-level documentation while reinforcing inspection and supervision to timely grasp the situations and quickly handle.

Besides, it is necessary to apply advanced technology in the pandemic fight. The communes, wards and towns were forced to complete creating QR code for all people and the public security force was urged to provide identification codes to the people in November. The related units should strive to complete the lodging- house management software by December 10.

Currently, the province has a large quantity of vaccine; hence, the Health sector and localities need to speed up vaccination while making plan for administering the 3rd vaccine dose in coming time with a priority for those at high risk.

The provincial leader ordered to pay high attention to containing and successfully handling the pandemic outbreak in Van Trung industrial park. Workers of Van Trung industrial park who are quarantining at home must be strictly managed.

Yen Dung district and Bac Giang city should thoroughly trace for not to miss any cases relating F0s in Noi Hoang industrial cluster and Tan Tien commune while implementing proper measures to prevent the pandemic spread in the community.

Bac Giang’s orange and pomelo season welcomes visitors
(BGO) – Bac Giang province has more than 10,750 ha of citrus fruit trees with total productivity of nearly 85,000 tonnes per year mostly in the districts of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The and Tan Yen, including nearly 5,200 ha of orange, over 5,560 ha of pomelo. The province has held conference to promote the consumption of orange, pomelo and key farm produce to expand the market while introducing several experimental tours in Luc Ngan district to welcome visitors to citrus fruit season.
