Authorities should also reduce waiting times and improve services for residents and businesses, he said.
These measures would help create a more efficient administrative environment and support socio-economic development in Tu Son and Bac Ninh province, he added.
Thai and other provincial officials also inspected the progress of several projects in Tu Son ward.
Later the same day, they surveyed provincial road 398, from Xuan Cam Bridge to the Hanoi-Bac Giang Expressway.
The road is planned to be upgraded and expanded to improve the province's transport and urban infrastructure and meet its development needs.
Once completed, the project is expected to strengthen regional connectivity between urban areas, industrial parks, industrial clusters and economic centres, helping attract investment, boost production and business activity and improve transport capacity.
The upgrade and expansion is expected to be carried out from 2026 to 2031, with total investment of more than 5.5 trillion VND (nearly 210 million USD).
The project will be funded by the provincial budget and included in the medium-term public investment plans for 2026-2030 and 2031-2035. About 66.97 hectares of land will be required.

During the inspection, the provincial Party Chief said the road was particularly important for connecting Bac Ninh with Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and Thai Nguyen, as well as the seaport network.
The route will also help connect industrial parks and clusters in Xuan Cam, Hiep Hoa, Van Ha and Nen wards with the national transport network, linking them to major national and provincial roads.
Thai instructed the provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments and agencies to urgently study investment options and complete the necessary procedures to include the provincial road 398 expansion project in the 2026-2030 medium-term public investment plan, with a target of starting the project as soon as possible.
