For the remaining 89.8 hectares in the first phase, the investor plans to carry out site clearance in stages, with infrastructure construction proceeding as land is handed over.
It aims to complete site clearance by December 2027 and bring the entire area into operation from the beginning of the second quarter of 2028.
Following reports and discussions with the investor, relevant departments, agencies and local authorities, the MPC Secretary Thai called on agencies and units to take greater responsibility and coordinate proactively to resolve obstacles, ensuring the project's progress and investment efficiency.
Regarding proposals to build a pumping station, upgrade the drainage canal system leading to the Thuong River and complete a connecting road, he requested a comprehensive review of urban and residential development plans and local infrastructure, alongside an assessment of actual needs, to identify appropriate solutions.
On site clearance for the next phase, the municipal leader urged the investor to maintain close coordination with local authorities and relevant agencies and comply with legal regulations.
The authorities of Viet Yen and Da Mai wards were asked to monitor developments closely and promptly address residents' legitimate concerns, while safeguarding the lawful interests of all parties.
He stressed that industrial development must go hand in hand with job creation and improved living standards.
