Particularly, the province granted investment certificates to 138 new projects and approved 89 added-capital projects with a total investment capital of around 5.2 billion USD including 56 domestic investment projects and 81 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with total registered capital of 100.743 trillion VND (3.86 billion USD) and 358.36 million USD respectively.

The province approved to increase investment capital for 17 domestic projects and 74 FDI projects, with additional capital amounts of 2.458.8 trillion VND and 785.03 million USD. In addition, 19 cases of capital contribution and share purchases were reported with a total value of 26.03 million USD.

With these results, Bac Ninh ranks 4th nationwide in FDI attraction, securing its attractiveness and favorable investment environment.

Industrial park (IP) infrastructure in the province continues to be expanded. Since early this year, Bac Ninh has established four new IPs with a total registered capital of 6.439.7 trillion VND (247 million USD), increasing the total number of industrial parks in the province to 39, covering an area of approximately 11,317 hectares.

The leased area of industrial land and land for administrative and service purposes has reached about 4,316.5 hectares, corresponding to an occupancy rate of 53.9%.

Besides, business registration activities have continued to show positive momentum. In March, the province granted certificates of registration to 455 enterprises, 8 branches amd representative offices and 172 business locations, with a total registered capital of 3.960 trillion VND (151.9 million USD).

The province has granted certificates of registration to 1,881 enterprises, 60 branches and representative offices and 762 business locations with a total registered capital of 53.379 trillion VND (2.04 billion USD) since early this year.

The mentioned results demonstrate the improved business and investment climate of Bac Ninh province, creating strong foundation for economic growth in coming time.
