Bac Ninh’s athlete Ha Thi Anh Uyen bags bronze medal at 33rd SEA Games
BAC NINH- In the first competition day of the 33rd SEA Games on December 10 afternoon in Thailand, athlete Ha Thi Anh Uyen (from Bac Ninh Sports Training and Competition Center No 1) and her teammate Vu Thi Anh Thu of Vietnam’s Jujitsu team competed in women’s 63kg fighting event.
With her strong determination for medal, Ha Thi Anh Uyen had an excellent performance and won a bronze medal. This is one of the first medals for Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games. The gold and silver medals in this event came to the athletes from the host country Thailand.

Besides, the athletes of Vietnam’s Jujitsu team fought at different weight classes, particularly Dao Hong Son and Le Kien (men’s 62kg), Dang Dinh Tung and Van Suu (men’s 77kg), Trieu Thi Hai Yen and Phung Mui Nhinh (women’s 52kg).
In the morning, Phung Thi Hong Ngoc and Nguyen Ngoc Bich bagged a bronze medal in duo show event, also the first medal for Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games.
