The event has drawn 253 strong players from 18 countries and territories, including Australia, Germany, Indonesia, India, Iran, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, North Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Venezuela and host nation Vietnam.

A mixed doubles match between pairs from North Korea and Indonesia takes place during the tournament.

Competitors are vying in five categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Vietnam’s national team fields 87 athletes and coaches, among them 16 from Bac Ninh province.

Several of the country’s top shuttlers are participating, such as Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, Pham Van Hai, Tran Quoc Khanh, and Than Van Anh of Bac Ninh; Vu Thi Trang and Nguyen Tien Minh from Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Dinh Hoang and Tran Dinh Manh of Lam Dong and Le Duc Phat from the Army team.

The “Felet Vietnam International Series 2025” is considered a major international event that gives athletes valuable opportunities to compete and earn ranking points on the world badminton circuit.

The qualifying rounds will run for three consecutive days, from October 28 to 30, to determine the players advancing to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. The final matches and awards ceremony are scheduled for the afternoon of November 2.
