Particularly, Bac Ninh bagged 6 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals. The gold medals came to Vi Thi Anh (women’s 54kg category), Trieu Tien Tinh (men’s 66kg category), Nguyen Van Cuong (men’s 69kg category), Hoang Phuong Chi (women’s 69kg category), Nguyen Xuan Vu (men’s 75kg category) and Tran Van Phuc (men’s 90kg category).

The 2nd National Rod Pushing Championship in 2025 was jointly held by Vietnam Sports Administration (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province from October 26 to November 2.
