Bac Ninh’s small-business association promotes investment ties in China
BAC NINH - A delegation from the Bac Ninh small and medium-sized enterprises association, led by Chairman Nguyen The Hong, held a policy dialogue in Guilin, China, with members of the Henan Business Association to discuss mechanisms for attracting investment to the northern Vietnamese province.
The delegation included Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Ngo Tan Phuong, honorary association Chairman Nguyen Cong Ngo, leaders of several departments and nearly 20 member enterprises.

During the dialogue, representatives from both associations discussed market trends, supply-chain shifts, investment needs and expectations of Chinese and Vietnamese firms considering projects in Bac Ninh.
Their recommendations from enterprises, organisations and investment promotion experts offered suggestions for improving the province’s business environment and providing greater confidence for domestic and foreign investors to operate long term in Bac Ninh.

Xi Guo Ji, Chairman of the Henan Business Association in Guilin, said his organisation was ready to act as a bridge to help firms in Guilin and across China expand cooperation and implement joint projects aligned with the strengths of both sides.
Speaking on behalf of provincial authorities, PPC Vice Chairman Phuong welcomed the initiative and expressed confidence that more cooperation programmes between the two business associations would follow.

Such ties, he said, would help drive Bac Ninh’s efforts in green, sustainable and innovation-driven development.
The event underscored the effectiveness of the three-way coordination mechanism between the provincial government, the Bac Ninh SME Association and Chinese FDI enterprises, which is considered a key foundation for attracting further foreign investment.
The province, he said, is committed to maintaining a transparent and investor-friendly environment and supporting domestic and foreign firms in quickly and efficiently carrying out their projects.

The Bac Ninh provincia leader asked the association’s standing committee to follow up immediately by establishing cooperation channels with the Henan Business Association in Guilin, gathering information on partnership needs and assisting Chinese firms exploring investment opportunities in Bac Ninh.
Member enterprises were encouraged to proactively connect with Chinese partners based on their strengths and capacities to advance production, business operations and product promotion.
During the trip, the delegation also conducted field surveys at several models and facilities in China.
