The total retail sales of goods in October and the first half of November in the province still recorded positive results, showing the market's ability to recover quickly after the impact of storm No. 11.

In particular, the total retail sales of goods were estimated at 11,559 billion VND (501.7 million USD) in October, up 7.28% and more than 118,103 billion VND during January to present, up 16.9% over the same period.

In addition, the province's import-export sector has continuously maintained its leading position in the country since August.

The total import-export value was estimated at over 20 billion USD in October and the first half of November, up 4.2% compared to September; and 149.9 billion USD in the first 10 months; of which, the export value reached 77.4 billion USD, up 32.3%; the import value reached 72.5 billion USD, up 38.6%.

The above results were achieved because the province directed the development and implementation of industrial promotion programme, trade promotion, e-commerce, and supporting industries, helping improve the quality of goods and services, enhance competitiveness and take advantage of opportunities to gradually participate in the value chain.
