Bac Ninh to invest over 2.24 trillion VND in transport links to mountainous areas
BAC NINH – Bac Ninh province will invest more than 2.245 trillion VND (about 85.5 million USD) to upgrade and improve key transport routes connecting mountainous areas as part of efforts to strengthen infrastructure and support economic development.
The provincial People's Committee has approved investment policies for three transport projects aimed at improving regional connectivity, boosting disaster resilience and facilitating the movement of people and goods.

The largest project involves the upgrading of Provincial Road DT.291B and its branch routes, with total investment of 868.233 billion VND. The project will be implemented in Luc Ngan, Deo Gia and Tuan Dao communes.
A second project will upgrade Provincial Road DT.297 and the DT.296C branch route at a cost of 570.656 billion VND, covering Hiep Hoa, Hoang Van, Ngoc Thien and Quang Trung communes.
The third project, valued at 806.852 billion VND, includes the upgrading of DT.291C from Km20+500 to National Highway 31, a branch route linking Dong Muong and Dong Cao, and a road connecting the former Giao Liem commune center with Suoi Hau. The project will be carried out in Dai Son and Van Son communes.
All three projects are classified as Group B public investment projects and will be financed through the provincial budget. Construction is scheduled for the 2027-2030 period.
Provincial authorities said the projects are expected to improve transport infrastructure, strengthen links between provincial roads, national highways and local road networks, enhance transport capacity and support socio-economic development in mountainous areas.
