BAC NINH - A conference was held on April 15 to review cooperation results between the Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Post for the 2020–2025 period, and to sign a cooperation agreement for 2026–2030.

During the 2020–2025 period, Vietnam Post branch in Bac Ninh (Bac Ninh Post), effectively implemented cooperation programmes across multiple areas.

Notably, it handled more than 233,000 administrative procedure applications via public postal services, accounting for about 30% of the total processed cases.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son speaks at the event.

The model of postal staff supporting or substituting civil servants at “one-stop-shop” administrative units has been deployed effectively, helping reduce pressure on grassroots officials and the administrative system.

Special postal services for delivering confidential documents and materials have ensured information security and supported the leadership and direction of Party and State agencies in the province.

Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam Post Nguyen Truong Giang speaks at the event.

Currently, Bac Ninh has 345 postal service points covering all communes, providing an important foundation for delivering public and digital services to residents.

Bac Ninh Post has also worked closely with departments and local authorities to distribute pensions, social insurance benefits, allowances for people with meritorious services, and social assistance payments.

To date, more than 7,300 seller accounts have been created, with 1,689 products listed, including 92 outstanding OCOP (One Commune One Product) items.

Through this platform, over 3,000 tonnes of lychee have been sold, with more than 500 container shipments transported, generating total transaction value of 48.6 billion VND (1.85 million USD).

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai affirmed that the province stands ready to accompany, support, and facilitate enterprises investing in Bac Ninh.
