Bac Ninh provincial leader visits, presents gifts to Goertek workers
BAC NINH - A provincial delegation led by Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, visited Goertek Vina Co., Ltd on April 15 to review production and workers’ living conditions, and present gifts to employees.
The visit, held at the Nam Son–Hap Linh Industrial Park, formed part of activities marking Workers’ Month 2026, reflecting the attention of local authorities and trade unions to employees in enterprises.

Goertek began investing in Bac Ninh in 2013 with its first project in Que Vo 1 Industrial Park, later expanding to Nam Son–Hap Linh in April 2024. The company has since become one of the province’s largest foreign-invested enterprises, employing around 60,000 workers.
Alongside its business operations, the company has actively engaged in social welfare activities, donating tens of billions of VND to Covid-19 prevention efforts, supporting communities affected by natural disasters, building houses for disadvantaged households and providing gifts to children, students and workers in difficult circumstances.

In 2024 and 2025, it contributed 1.3 billion VND to the “Dat Hoc Kinh Bac” education promotion programme.
The Chairman of the provincial People’s Council praised the company’s efforts in maintaining production, creating stable jobs and ensuring workers’ benefits, noting its significant contributions to the province’s socio-economic development.

He reiterated that Bac Ninh considers investment attraction and industrial development as key priorities, with a strong focus on transport infrastructure and major projects to enhance regional and national connectivity.
He urged the company to further expand production and continue supporting workers’ welfare and local social programmes.

On the occasion, the delegation presented 100 gift packages to disadvantaged workers.
Earlier the same day, Goertek inaugurated the A9 canteen at its Nam Son plant, a facility designed to improve workers’ living standards. The canteen has a maximum capacity of 9,000 meals per shift and meets food safety standards, featuring spacious facilities, modern equipment and a closed operational process.
