In addition, the EVN and NPC were proposed to invest in and operate No.2 Luc Ngan 100kV substation within March 2018; early pour the capital for 110kV substations in Son Dong district and Bac Giang city; boost up the investment progress to utilize the grid of 110kV Hiep Hoa – Tan Yen – Cau Go (Yen The) and Tan Yen 110kV substation as well as permitting Hop Nhat Joint Stock Company to supply coal to the Corporation's thermal power plants.

Speaking at the meeting, Dang Hoai An informed that EVN instructed NPC to prepare the detailed investment and construction plan for the power grid projects in the local area for upcoming years. Deeply acknowledging the degradation of the provincial low voltage grids in the rural region, EVN committed to early improve and revamp the systems as well as controlling the rural grid in the future. However, for the coal issue of Hop Nhat JSC, he said EVN needed to submit and get the approval from Government Prime Minister.

Dang Thanh Hai shared in the meeting that Son Dong thermal power plant which received Vinacomin’s investment has been effectively operated. Therefore, he hoped to have a chance to investigate and invest in another one with larger scale in the province.

Chairman Nguyen Van Linh thanked the agencies for investing in the locality recently. The provincial People’s Committee has ensured the site and built traffic routes synchronizing with the power projects.

He considered that electricity sector should satisfy the economy development demand; thus EVN should shorten down the construction time helping attract the investment for economic stimulation locally.

The local authority agreed with Vinacomin’s proposal for constructing another thermal plant and suggested them to early issue an official document so that the provincial People’s Committee reports to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Commission for review and comment in a near future, he expressed.
