Nearly 1,000 pottery products from the Bau Truc pottery craft village and 2,000 brocade weaving products of Cham artisans from Ninh Thuan province are being displayed at the event.

In addition, visitors can witness the various stages of making a pottery product (excluding the drying stage) by skilled Cham artisans from Ninh Thuan province and performances of brocade weaving.

Tai Van Nhiem, a pottery artisan from the Bau Truc craft village said that Cham culture is associated with his life and hoped that more visitors and young people would contribute to preserving and promoting the Bau Truc pottery craft.

Former Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Centre for Relics Preservation said that Cham cultural heritages have been well preserved and widely introduced to visitors during festivals including the Ponagar Tower, pottery making and brocade weaving.

On the occasion, Cham artists will also perform traditional songs and dances to entertain visitors.

This is the fifth year, pottery products from the Bau Truc pottery craft village and brocade weaving by Cham ethnic minority groups from Ninh Thuan province have been showcased at the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival.

The exhibition was jointly held by the Khanh Hoa's Department of Culture and Sports and the Ponagar Tower Relics Centre.
