Hanoi creates over 136,000 jobs in ten months

Despite the impacts of Covid-19, Hanoi still managed to create 136,616 jobs in the first ten months of 2021, equivalent to 85.3% of the full-year target, according to the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
The capital city is aiming to create 160,000 jobs by the end of the year through the implementation of a wide range of measures including providing preferential loans for job creation, organising online and offline job fairs, and providing training for workers who have lost their jobs.

New jobs to be created in the final months of the year are mainly in the groups of seasonal workers, confectionery trade villages, finance and banking, information and communications, and wholesale and retail.
Over 3,000 labours employed at job transaction sessions
(BGO) – More than 3,000 labours have been employed
to work at businesses via 52 job transaction sessions launched by the Bac Giang
provincial Center of Job Service since early this year.
Job and boarding-house “ATMs” to support workers amid pandemic
The Youth Social Work Centre under the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee will launch two programmes - “Community-based Job ATMs” and “Community-based boarding-house ATMs to support workers who are living in difficulty in Ho Chi Minh City.
Bac Giang holds online job transaction session with Northern localities

Service Center (JSC) in Bac Giang province (Department of Labour, Invalids and
Social Affairs) has organized online job transaction session with Northern
provincies of Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen,
Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang.

date, 286 enterprises in 4 industrial parks of Van Trung, Dinh Tram, Quang Chau
and Song Khe – Noi Hoang in Bac Giang province have resumed operation with
total number of nearly 82,000 workers.
Bac Giang workers return to work: "Settling down" for “a stable job”
(BGO) - In response to urgent
requirements on the Covid-19 prevention and control, in mid-May, the People's
Committee of Bac Giang province decided to temporarily close four industrial parks
and suspend the operation of many businesses in districts and Bac Giang city.
