Accordingly, the project connecting the provincial road 296 to the belt road No 4 has a length of about 6,396 kilometre invested by the district Management Board of Construction Investment Projects. The total investment is nearly 310 billion VND (12.7 million USD) from the district budget.

The route connecting the provincial road 296 and belt road No 4 will have an end intersecting the south northern axis road which has been completed by the district.

The project is constructed by Dong An Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Quang Minh Construction and Investment Company Limited. The Transport Investment and Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company provides design consultancy.

The beginning of the route is the Km0+00 intersecting the provincial road 296 at the Km8+ 680 in Hop Thinh commune while the end of the route crosses the south northern axis road at the Km6+ 396,44 in Huong Lam commune. The project covers the communes of Hop Thinh, Mai Trung, Xuan Cam and Huong Lam. 

The route has been invested at the scale of a level-3 plain road including the items of road foundation and surface, water drainage system, Ngoi Dat canal overpass, lighting system and traffic safety.

The design speed for this route is 80 km/h with 12m wide road foundation and 11m wide road surface. The road surface is concreted and asphalted with macadam base layers.

According to the leader of the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects of Hiep Hoa district, the route is aimed to gradually complete the traffic network according to the urban master plan of Hiep Hoa district until 2035 approved by the provincial People’s Committee. 

Besides, it will help to strengthen connectivity to meet the demand of local people and improve the exploitability of the route contributing to boosting socio-economic development of the district.

Hiep Hoa constructs road to link provincial road No.296 to belt road No.4

(BGO) – Hiep Hoa district in Bac Giang province has focused on land clearance for construction of the route to link the provincial road No.296 to Hanoi belt road No.4 which stretches about 6.3km with total cost of over 309 billion VND (13.1 million USD) from the district budget.
