Increasing power capability in Quang Chau Industrial Park

(BGO) – According to Bac Giang Power Company, the Northern Power Corporation has invested 40 billion VND (1.7 million USD) to additionally install and put the T2 transformer with the capability of 63,000 KVA in operation at the Quang Chau Substation 110kV.

T2 transformer has been installed and put in use at Quang Chau Substation 110kV.

The action aims at increasing the substation capability up to 103,000 KVA, ensuring to meet the electricity using demand of nearly 30 enterprises operating in Quang Chau IP (Viet Yen district) and create the support loop to improve the power supply reliability to Van Trung and Dinh Tram IPs (Viet Yen district) and Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP (Yen Dung district) in emergency cases.

The capability increase not only satisfies the current power using demand but also contributes to luring the investment in key projects, creating more jobs and incomes to the labors as well as boosting up the local socio-economic development.
