Nguyen Hue Tet 'flower street' to feature food stalls for 1st time

Nguyen Hue in downtown Ho Chi Minh City will take its annual "flower street" avatar for eight days during Lunar New Year, and have food stalls for the first time.
According to plans unveiled by city authorities, it will open to visitors at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15, and close on Feb. 22.

Culinary areas and festivities will be on both sides of the street and at the intersection with Le Loi Street.
Organizers plan to set up nearly 50 food booths.
The annual celebration of Vietnam’s most important festival has grown into a cultural hallmark of the city.
Last year the street drew over 1.2 million visitors.
This year the country will have nine days of holidays for Tet from Feb. 14 to 22.
The Year of the Horse begins on Feb. 17.

BAC NINH - The 2025 International Culinary and Cultural Festival opened on November 23 at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound on 298 Kim Ma Street, drawing nearly 120 booths from embassies, consulates, foreign cultural centres, provincial foreign affairs departments and major enterprises.
The festival kicked off at the Tran Nhan Tong Pedestrian Street and Thong Nhat Park on November 21 evening, under the theme Hanoi Autumn – A Season of Memories.
Running from November 18 to 24 in Lao Cai and Cam Duong wards, as well as various places in Lao Cai province, the festival offers a diverse programme covering culture, tourism, trade and sports.
The Vietnamese delegation has made a strong impression by winning the first prize in two key categories for professional producers in the region at the 2025 Southeast Asian Children’s Film Festival.
