In her slim and tall figure with delicate face, Trang moved continuously in happy mood to instruct, encourage and care for the blood donors because at that time she was a volunteer to support the voluntary blood donation (VBD) at the campaign lauching event.

Trang was persuaded to join the college’s volunteer group to communicate about the VBD movement at her first year in 2019 and later to Bac Giang Blood Club. Gradually, she becomes more and more enthusiasm with the meaningful movement after each activity.

Particularly, after listening to the touch story of Phung The Vu, former Chairman of Bac Giang Blood Club when he directly donated the blood to save a kid in an emergency case, Thu Trang self promised to donate blood for her whole life.

“I am very happy in each blood donation because it is a good deed I can do to help or even save one life,” Trang shared.

She has donated blood 5 times but the 20 year old student is well known as the Chairwoman of Bac Giang Blood Club.

Now the club has nearly 200 volunteers, mostly the students at the universities and colleges in the province, half of whom have donated blood 5 times.

Be active, responsible to transfer the volunteer spirit to many youths, Thu Trang always expects to contribute more to the blood donation movement to save more life.

Additionally, she hopes to call on people to establish a “live blood bank” to be ready to give blood 24 hours per day in the upcoming time.
