One new imported case of Covid-19 confirmed

One new imported Covid-19 case was confirmed in Vietnam on Wednesday morning, bringing the total to 1,203, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
The patient is a 60-year-old Israeli national. He entered Noi Bai International Airport on the flight QR976 on October 31 and was quarantined in Hoan Kiem District immediately after his entry.

The patient has been quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No 2 in Hanoi's Dong Anh District.
The total number of recoveries had reached 1,069.
Vietnam has experienced 63 days without recording cases of Covid-19 in the community.

Covid-19 cases, but all patients were put under medical monitoring right upon
their arrival. The provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control
continues to direct the close control of the sources of infection from people
entering the province from abroad to prevent pathogens from spreading to the community.
