Over 3.4 billion VND invested in 2 concentrated systems for clean water supply

(BGO) – Implementing the Decision No.755 issued by the Prime Minister in 2013 about the policy to support the land for living and production, clean water for disadvantaged ethnic people and poor households in the special difficult communes and hamlets, this year Bac Giang province has mobilized over 3.4 billion VND (over 146,800 USD) to support Son Dong district to build two new concentrated systems of clean water supply.

They are located at Thanh Chung hamlet, Tuan Mau commune and Tien Ly hamlet, Yen Dinh commune, including the clarifier, filter tank and water pipeline systems.

These systems will be commenced this year and completed in 2020 for operation which ensure to distribute clean water to more than 1,300 residents.

(BGO) - Many rural people have to live with running water polluted for a long time without alternative water sources. Grasping that demand, some businesses have invested in infrastructure works to bring clean water to rural residents, gradually improving the proportion of people using clean water in Bac Giang province.
