PPC Secretary Bui Van Hai receives RoK’s ambassador Park Noh-wan

(BGO) - Bui Van Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee (PPC), Chairman of the provincial People’s Council received the delegation of the Embassy of Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam headed by Park Noh-wan, RoK’s Ambassador to Vietnam.

At the meeting, PPC Secretary Bui Van Hai warmly welcomed the visit by the RoK’s Embassy in Vietnam and stressed the fine traditional relationship between the two countries, Bac Giang and Korean partners particularly.

The provincial Secretary briefed the guests on socio-economic development of the province, in which he affirmed the economic growth has maintained the high rate in recent years.

The province provides many policies to attract investment from all enterprises including RoK’s companies such as administrative procedure reform and facilitating enterprises’ operation.

Currently, RoK ranks first in terms of the number of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the province. Most of the RoK’s enterprises are in good operation with responsibility. Besides, RoK’s business persons and workers have close and friendly relationships with local government and people without any discrimination.

PPC Secretary Bui Van Hai stressed, Bac Giang province always facilitates RoK’s enterprises to invest in the province. He hoped that as the RoK’s Ambassador, Park Noh-wan would introduce prestigious RoK’s corporations to invest in the province. 

Besides, he hoped to receive support of the RoK’s Embassy in accessing to Korean Official Development Assistance (ODA) and Non-governmental Organization (NGO) sources while cooperating with the province in popularizing RoK’s legal regulations and policies for foreign workers and studying and working skills for Bac Giang’s labourers and students who want to study and work in RoK.

Ambassador Park Noh-wan expressed his gratitude for warm welcome of the PPC Secretary and highly appreciated socio-economic development of the province in recent years.

Park Noh-wan stressed, as the RoK’s Ambassador to Vietnam, he will introduce and guide the RoK’s enterprises and organizations to continue to choose Bac Giang as a destination of investment for mutual development.

The Ambassador highly spoke on performance of Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology and he expected it will become the main college to supply labor force for RoK’s enterprises in coming time.

Besides, he expected the province to pay attention to addressing issuance of work permit and timely providing guidance to RoK’s enterprises on extension of value added tax payment deadlines, land lease and loans due to Covid-19’s impacts.

Ambassador Park Noh-wan promised to inform some RoK’s agencies and enterprises in Bac Giang who delayed salary and social insurance payment for labourers to remedy shortcomings and strictly obey Vietnamese laws.
