At these places, PPC Vice Secretary Le Anh Duong ordered the leader of medical sector and hotel owner to strictly implement the Covid-19 preventive regulations; the procedure of medical isolation in each stage as well as sufficiently equip the protective tools and supplies.

The hotels should establish the special group in charge of isolation issue. The regulations need to be translated into many languages to help the guest easily understand and implement. The staff serving the isolated cases must have their health regularly checked. The competent agencies were urged to enhance the strict supervision over the isolation at the hotels.

The provincial leader also pressed on the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic in the world with increasing number of infected cases. Recalling the newly infected cases in the quarantine area and community in Ho Chi Minh city, he requested the relevant sectors and hotels to take serious experience in pandemic prevention and control; strictly follow isolation regulations; enhance the inspection and supervision at the isolation sites; strictly handle any case violating Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.

According to the provincial Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, as of December 1, the agencies under the provincial Military Command received 3,858 Vietnamese citizens and foreigners to isolate for pandemic prevention at 12 quarantine sites.

To date, 3,628 people completed the medical isolation period while 230 Vietnamese and foreigners are still under quarantine status at 3 sites of Regiment No.831 Station, provincial Center of National Defence and Security Education and provincial Center of Farmers’ Support.
