The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee asked the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to urgently direct the medical, police, military, information and communication forces to support Viet Yen district in quickly investigating, tracing and testing cases related to the above-mentioned F0 cases.
They were asked to urgently identify and announce the epidemic levels in Thuong Lan commune and other relevant localities, and impose lockdown measures according to the scenarios guided by the Ministry of Health and Plan No. 5548/KH-UBND dated October 22, 2021 by the provincial People's Committee.
It is necessary to shift from pandemic prevention to pandemic combat, activate anti-epidemic measures under the motto "four on the spot" in Thuong Lan commune and related areas of Viet Yen district; while strengthening communications and patrols, controlling and strictly punishing cases violating anti-pandemic regulations, with a determination to stop the chain of infection in the shortest time.
They need to require officials, civil servants and Party members to continuously persuade the people and workers in the area to make medical declarations seriously. Cases having contact with infections must voluntarily take self-quarantine measures and notify the relevant authorities to serve the investigation, tracing, and quarantine organisation in line with regulations.
As soon as two cases of Covid-19 were detected in a family in Ha village, Thuong Lan commune, the district Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control urgently investigated, traced and set up checkpoints. The whole district exerted all efforts for tracking and testing so as to soon cut off the chain of infection.
Viet Yen district also sent recommendations to the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks and enterprises based outside the industrial zones for timely imposition of anti-pandemic measures on workers residing in Ha village. The district has also prepared conditions for epidemic prevention and control and activated more concentrated quarantine areas.
Thuong Lan commune has eight villages with 2,136 households and more than 9,200 residents. From noon on October 26, the district health center mobilized 100 health workers to take samples in all villages and at the Viet Yen High School No. 2.
