Tickets for postponed F1 Vietnam GP remain fully valid

All ticket purchases for the Formula 1 Vietnam Grand Prix (GP) 2020 still remain fully valid along with their benefits, and will be automatically updated to the new race schedule when announced, according to organisers Vietnam Grand Prix Corporation (VGPC).

Amid the Covid-19 outbreak, the inaugural F1 stage in Hanoi, scheduled for this April 5, had officially been postponed by F1 and the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

The track for the F1 Vietnam GP 2020, Hanoi Street Circuit, has been completed after over 11 months of construction.

With the new date hoped to be released within one to two months based on the official reschedule date announced by the FIA and F1, VGPC issued a statement on March 20 offering an update on the ticket situation to the F1 fans.

As for the customers who have already received their tickets, VGPC will deliver new tickets to them free-of-charge when the new race date is confirmed. The previous tickets sent to buyers will no longer be valid. E-tickets will be issued and valid from two to three weeks prior to the new race date.

In case customers do not wish to get new tickets or are unable to continue with their ticket purchase for whatever reason, VGPC will carry out procedures for refunds and ticket cancellation. The company will contact customers as soon as possible regarding refund and cancellation policies, and perform all the relevant formalities.
